The Comicon Socks are done, and for about 3 days I had NO socks on the needles, even though I had 4 sets of DPNs open.
That was a little strange.
I really like how the colors worked out on these fraternal socks, and so glad to add another warm pair to the sock drawer for next fall.
I cast on for socks for my mom Monday night, and right now there is just a foot. I'm going to check size with her later this morning, then go on to work the heel if my gauge and math skills came together in a friendly way. Once the math is all worked out the other 3 socks planned for her will go fantastically. Right?
I'm mostly reading the Sjogren's Syndrome Survival Guide this past (busy) week, but a little bit of The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon before bed if I'm awake long enough.
fantastic socks! I have dpns that are empty for the next few days, but don't you worry another pair of socks will be cast on soon :)
ReplyDeleteLove your socks Erin.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any socks on the needles right now and it makes me panic a little. I have been spending all my knitting time on my shawl, but as soon as it's finished I'm casting on socks!
Wow, they are beautiful! Great job!
