This week I'm working the short row heels on my Mom's Socks, and working on the Berry Socks as well. I'm half way through section 7 on my Earth Death Citron (dyed by the wonderful Nerd Girl Yarns). I haven't had a lot of time to work on the You Are My Sunshine Baby Hat but need to get to work on it quickly for a baby shower.
I'm close to finishing the merino on my wheel, but also planning for the SPAKAL sweater (with the Knitmore Girls). I have some fiber from Spunky Eclectic I might spin to see if I like it for the SPAKAL.
Do you have fiber suggestions for me?
LOVE- Summer break! We will switch around our usual schooling schedule to include Morning Basket (I referred to a morning basket audio lecture with Cindy Rollins (The Long Haul: On Morning Time) and Morning Basket Archived Posts- Wildflowers and Marbles.
I sometimes go a little crazy about my travel knitting- why can't I knit a WHOLE SWEATER on vacation??? Oh yeah- because of the vacation. What do you take when you have a long car ride and maybe a few days off?

I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your latest podcast! I am a crocheter and a middle school orchestra teacher, although I plan on learning to knit socks....someday! Your comments on what you try to pack for knitting projects made me laugh, as I am guilty of the same thing! Thanks for your podcasts!
